The BK8 sponsorship register: which deals are live and which have ended

How we sort a deal

A deal counts as current here only if a dated announcement from the past twelve months confirms it and the term it covers has not ended. Everything else is listed as past, with the seasons its announcement covered. BK8.io's own Sponsorships & Partners strip still shows badges for nine football clubs, but a badge is not a contract, so we have not used it to call any of those deals current.

Current deals

The Aston Martin Aramco deal carries a gold stamp because only the team has announced it so far, and we found no matching release from BK8. Our report on the Aston Martin Aramco partnership sets out what the team's announcement does and does not say.

Gresini Racing confirmed on 2 July 2026 that the team will keep the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP name for 2027 with a new rider pairing. No source we could find states a BK8 sponsorship term beyond 2026, so we have not extended the term in this register. The BK8 Gresini Racing run-in preview covers the five rounds left in this season.

Past deals

The Aston Villa entry needs a word of explanation. When the deal was announced in June 2023 it was described as a three-year agreement to the end of 2025/26. In April 2024, SportsPro reported that Betano would replace BK8 on the front of the shirt from 2024/25, so the shirt deal ran for one season in practice. Any page still describing BK8 as Villa's current shirt sponsor is out of date.

Why the badges and the register differ

Sponsorship strips on brand websites tend to grow and rarely shrink. A club badge can stay on a footer for years after the deal behind it has ended, and a logo on an event's partner row does not tell you the terms. We list only what a dated announcement supports. One example: the official 2026 HSBC BWF World Tour Finals site lists BK8 among its official partners. That fits the through-2026 BWF deal, but without an announcement of its own we have not added the 2026 Finals as a separate entry.

When a new deal is announced, or an existing one is confirmed as renewed or ended, we update this register and the date at the top of the page, and file a report on the news desk.
