Earlier events that shaped the BK8.io record, oldest first. Each entry links to its original announcement, so you can read the source rather than our summary.

How a story gets filed

We only file a story once we have read the announcement itself, not a summary of it. If two independent sources confirm a fact, we state it as fact. If only one does, the report says so and names the source. If a story rests on a rumour or a single unofficial report, we leave it out, as we did with a claimed extension of the Gresini Racing deal to 2028 that the team has not announced.

Stories that change a fact elsewhere on the site also update that page. A new or ended sponsorship changes the sponsorship register, and a licence change would update the BK8.io licence check the same day.

Some things we will not report: odds, tips, predictions or claims about how much anyone has won. Those are not facts we can check, and they are not what this desk is for.
